Second Thursday of every month in Santa Rosa

Wine Country Bingo is one of the ways Wine Country Trykes raises the funds and community support that keep our adaptive-mobility work moving. Join us for an evening of Bingo, pull tabs, food, prizes and a room full of people supporting the same mission.

Ability Central awarded Wine Country Trykes $2,500 to support three months of Wine Country Bingo events. Ability Central is a philanthropic organization working to advance communication and information access for people who are Deaf, disabled, and neurodivergent through strategic grantmaking, partnerships, education, and trusted resources.

2025 Community Impact Grant

$10,000

Outride awarded Wine Country Trykes a $10,000 Community Impact Grant supporting adaptive cycling access, including three Trykes ($5,400), staff and program capacity ($4,000), and promotion and accessories ($600). Outride advances the social, emotional, and cognitive benefits of cycling through research, cycling programs, and funding that expands access to riding.

What Wine Country Trykes does

A Tryke is selected and fitted for one rider.

WCT works with riders, families, therapists, volunteers, and funding partners from the first referral through delivery and follow-up.

Community support and grant funding remove the equipment cost from the rider and family.

WCT coordinates ordering, assembly, delivery, and continued contact after the Tryke reaches its rider.

Every Tryke Starts With a Rider

A delivery is one moment in a longer relationship. WCT begins by listening to the rider, family, and therapist, then coordinates fitting, funding, assembly, delivery, and follow-up.

The equipment is selected around the rider—not the other way around.

Lukas and His New Paceline 20

Lukas has been part of the Wine Country Trykes story across several stages of his growth. His new Paceline 20 brings that story up to date—not as a future goal, but as the adaptive Tryke he is riding now.

That second use was possible for this particular Tryke. Adaptive equipment cannot always be reassigned.

Initiative in preparation

20 Riders by ’29

Wine Country Trykes is preparing a focused initiative to provide 20 no-cost, custom-fit Amtrykes by December 31, 2028.

The public campaign has not formally launched. WCT is building the referral, fitting, funding, assembly, delivery, and follow-up capacity first.

How a Tryke reaches a rider

From Referral to Delivery

A Tryke begins with finding the right rider and understanding what they need. Wine Country Trykes coordinates referrals, intake and fitting, develops funding, orders and assembles the equipment, completes delivery and follows up afterward.

Therapists, families, funders, volunteers and community supporters may enter that process at different points. WCT keeps those pieces connected around one outcome: getting properly fitted adaptive equipment to the rider.

A New Home for Wine Country Trykes

Wine Country Trykes is launching a new website built around the programs, events and partnerships that support our adaptive-mobility work. It is also the beginning of a larger connected web presence, with dedicated projects including 20 Riders by ’29 at 20by29.org on the way.

Wine Country Trykes is preparing 20 Riders by ’29, a focused initiative to provide 20 no-cost, custom-fit adaptive Amtrykes to children, adults and veterans with disabilities by the end of 2028.

The campaign will connect rider outreach, therapists, fitting, funding, assembly, delivery and follow-up around one measurable goal.

Who can receive an Amtryke through WCT?

Wine Country Trykes serves children, adults, and veterans with disabilities. Contact WCT so the team can understand the rider’s needs and explain the fitting and funding process.

Does a rider pay for the Tryke?

No. WCT develops community, sponsor, and grant funding so approved Trykes can be provided at no cost to riders and families.

How do therapists participate?

Therapists can refer riders, assist with measurements and fitting, and help identify an appropriate configuration. WCT coordinates the next steps.

Where does Wine Country Trykes serve?

WCT is centered in Sonoma County and reaches into surrounding counties. Public rider locations are never mapped.
